Google Maps Street View is used by people across the planet to help them navigate. Some people use the tool to find travel across their own country while others use it to traverse the world. More recently, the tool has been used to spot some very strange occurrences.
Usually, the tool is used as an online mapping service which is owned by Google.
However, it also offers satellite images, panoramic views of streets and route planning.
Sometimes the most bizarre scenes found on Google Maps go viral, catapulting the user to fame.
Other scenes found on the tool go down in history.
This bizarre image unfolded on a road in Poland.
From afar, this looks like an ordinary car on the road.
However, close up it becomes clear that the Street View lens has made a monumental error.
The white car appears to have shrunk to half its normal size.

One of the back wheels has almost completely disappeared and then been replicated.
The back of the car, including the wheel window and boot, have been brought forward.
The car looks like a two-seater when in reality it’s more likely to be a four-seater.
The bizarre sight is most likely to have been caused by a technological glitch in the Google Street View camera.
When taking the photo, the 360-degree cameras shoot multiple pictures to create the seamless image.
This is done by putting the images together to make it seem realistic.
However, moving objects often ruin the scene as they shift when the photos are taken.
The image was spotted by an eagle-eyed Reddit user who posted the image on the site with the caption, “This beautiful vehicle I’ve found.”
The post was inundated with comments by interested Reddit users.
One user said: “Let me guess: Poland?”
Another said: “The antenna on the left is a cb-antenna. Maybe it’s the Sunker Elite CB115.
“Many cars in Poland have one, so it was my first guess.”
Another said: “That’s a Nissan… not really that good. Just the right angle.
“It’s a French car but you can find it pretty much everywhere in Europe and Africa.”
Other users continued to guess what brand the car was meant to be.
Another added: “Berlingo. Best car/van ever. Will do anything you want it to. Well…. within reason.”
One user replied: “They are the backbone of Europe’s postal, taxi and tradesmen services.”
